New Approaches for Sensitising Metastatic Colorectal Cancer to Immunotherapy
Purpose:
Immunotherapy is an approach that takes advantage of the body’s own immune system to attack cancer cells. This therapy that has produced long term benefit for patients with many different types of advanced cancers, but has had limited benefit for patients with bowel cancer. In this application we are using cutting edge techniques to identify new ways to use immunotherapy to improve outcomes for patients with advanced bowel cancer.
