Purpose:

My research is focused on improving outcomes of autoimmune diseases scleroderma and lupus, that can affect multiple organs in the body, causing much morbidity and reduced life expectancy. My aim is to develop and apply new treatment strategies, working towards pre-defined goals, to ensure optimal quality of life, prevention of organ damage and maximised survival. My research entails international collaborations, working with consumers, and mentoring emergent researchers to address unmet needs.
