Grant Activity:
Enhancing Immunity by Tissue-Resident Memory T Cells
Purpose:

Tissue-resident memory T cells are critical mediators of viral and tumor immunity. Despite this, targeting tissue-resident immune cells specifically is currently difficult as their developmental requirements are only partially understood. My research aims to provide a greater understanding of how these T cells can be generated and function within tissues, which will open the way to utilise these cells in new immunotherapeutic strategies.
