Purpose:
Using PCV is a high public health priority. Poor countries in the Asia-Pacific lag behind in using PCV. Lack of accurate disease burden estimates and unknown PCV impact from the region contribute. New ways to determine disease burden, monitor impact and early prevention ( a clinical trial) will be explored in countries in the Asia- Pacific using established networks and field sites.
