Grant Activity:
Targeting the transcription-cycle for cancer therapy
Purpose:
Blood cancers boosts the wrong signals by turning on bad genes produced by the cells messenger factory. This fuels the cancer's growth and aggressive nature. The researcher will investigate how to stop these bad messages from being generated by directly targeting this messenger factory. These findings will increase our understanding of this cancer-driving process and result in the identification of viable and exciting new therapeutic targets for future drug discovery programs.
