Grant Activity:
Advancing influenza vaccines for broad and durable protection
Purpose:
Current influenza vaccines elicit poor protection against viruses undergoing rapid change. This proposal will define the potential for protective, cross-reactive antibody responses in humans and use this information to identify conserved sites of vulnerability on the hemagglutinin of influenza viruses. This will inform the development and assessment of novel influenza vaccine concepts in animal models of human influenza infection.
