There is increasing evidence that exposure to environmental chemicals including plant oestrogens, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides can alter the normal developmental of the reproductive tract. They are commonly found in suburban environments, in farms, rivers and waterways. Defining how these environmental pollutants cause abnormal development of the reproductive tract, cancers, infertility and sex reversal will enable development of new government policy to regulate their use.
