Developing novel therapeutic strategies and predictive biomarkers in Pancreatic Cancer
Purpose:
Pancreatic cancers are frequent and have extremely poor outcomes. Very few treatments are available for patients with this disease. Candidate drugs have recently emerged to block specific genetic modifications found in this cancer, but tumour cells can often evade these treatments. Here, we will combine innovative genetic and cellular analyses to design specific drug combinations preventing the ability of pancreatic cancers to escape treatment and thus improving the treatment of this disease.
