Ai Group Australia-Vietnam Global Engagement Roadmap

Purpose:

On 14 November 2020, as part of a broader package of economic, development and security measures to support Southeast Asia’s recovery from COVID-19, Prime Minister Morrison announced a four-year $232 Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) to support economic integration and development in the Mekong Sub-region. This grants round contributes the MAP’s objectives to boost economic integration, investment and development in Vietnam in support of progressing an Australia-Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy.

This Project will help at least 300 Australian businesses to kick-start/expand/diversify their exports and supply chains to Vietnam. The activities/resources will increase the skills/capabilities, and networks of SMEs to engage with Vietnam. Through the program delivery, Ai Group will develop an evidence-based Roadmap for Vietnam to support future policy/program development.
