Improved clinical outcomes from understanding risk factors for reproductive diseases
Purpose:
There is unmet need for improved treatment for common diseases affecting women’s health. We have found genetic risk factors for these conditions and the next step is translation of the results to improve patient outcomes. The aims of this research are to understand the overlap in risk factors for related diseases, characterise disease specific risk factors, and determine if subtypes exist for some diseases that could lead to more effective and personalized treatments.
