Purpose:
We aim to provide a learning environment accessible to the whole school, that fosters the natural curiosity of children and develops their lateral thinking and problem solving skills. We endeavour to encourage practical skills, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking. Developing STEM activities such as robotics and coding, will expose students to science, technology, engineering and maths. We would like to offer students a place where learning occurs through innovation, creativity, collaboration and the incorporation of 21st century skills. Our future vision is that the Makerspace would be a flexible space, able to be used for learning activities such as CAPA and the expansion and incorporation of cooking classes.
