Job South West Careers of the Future Program
Purpose:
The Jobs South West Careers of the Future Program will develop and deliver a Career Related Learning aspirational curriculum based on international best practice and research for primary school aged children and young adults. This project will work with schools across the Bunbury region, a regional city, which has long been home to a large lower socio–economic community with an unemployment rate of 3.6% and a youth unemployment rate of 13.6%. The program will innovatively build on extensive career services being delivered by Jobs South West, reaching an even wider cross section of the community and equalising opportunity for learners, their peers and families to understand the Careers of the Future in a very local context.
Jobs South West will collaborate with Bunbury Regional Community College, Southwest Business Association Inc. and Regional Development Australia � South West Inc. to design and deliver the Careers of the Future Program.
