Purpose:
Arete Labs is a formulation development lab, which specializes in helping their clients bring breakthrough products onto the market in the Personal Care, Cosmeceuticals, Petcare & Pharma(OTC) Industries. Arete is expanding its services to include an essential Pilot trial-size formulation vessel, designed to reduce wastage and costs. This vessel will allow for manufacturing of new products at 30-50kg scale as opposed to the current standard scale up volumes of 1-3 tons. It will enable other start-ups & SMEs to bring more innovative formulations as consumer demand has been pivoting towards products that aren't mass produced and don't have excessive amounts of preservatives. Additionally, Arete would also like to bring more testing & claim substantiation capabilities to the local Personal Care (Skin & Hair) Industry by opening a specialized skin & scalp testing clinic. Many of the products which Arete formulates, are sent overseas for specialized testing & claims. Arete will bring these testing & claim substantiation capabilities inhouse to support start-ups, with products made and tested in Australia.
