Purpose:
The CSIRO will undertake a project to complete consultative work that will set priorities to guide and inform the future funding of strategic critical minerals research in Australia. CSIRO will conduct this work in house with a small team of specialists, supported by a consultancy experienced in surveying technology suppliers, markets and performing data-based analyses. CSIRO will seek input from stakeholders in industry, government and academia to synthesize a policy-like document to inform itself and Government on the most urgent priorities for critical minerals research that will benefit commercial industry and the Australian nation.
