Purpose:

This research addresses critical evidence gaps for Australia’s only national 24-hour crisis service, Lifeline, by identifying the types of help-seekers it is expected to support and outcomes to achieve, developing reliable and innovative ways to measure actual help-seeker types and outcomes across different modalities (call, chat, text), and determining whether fidelity to the crisis support practice model achieves appropriate outcomes for all help-seeker types and across all modalities.
