The Kangaroo Island Racing Carnival, held annually in February since 1883, is a premier event on the island. The 2021 event will now include a trainer incentive challenge program aimed at enticing a higher caliber of trainers and horses to the event, resulting in higher visitation. Grant funds will be used for: the trainer challenge, marketing, promotion and PR.
