Purpose:
"Exercise is medicine and General Practitioners are ideally placed to promote the benefits of regular exercise to their patients. Despite this advice about exercise is rarely provided in these GP consultations. This project will design, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of a series of tools designed to address the barriers to GPs recommending exercise as a treatment and increase the provision of exercise advice in this setting."
