Business Improvement Fund for Residential Aged Care – Round 2
The Aged Care Structural Adjustment Program has been established to support aged care providers to improve performance, sell, transition, or exit from the sector in an orderly way.
The Structural Adjustment Program will include two grant opportunities and will commence with the Business Improvement Fund for Residential Aged Care (Round 2).
The Business Improvement Fund is aimed at improving provider governance and operations to ensure service continuity and longer-term sustainability through undertaking business improvement activities. The Business Improvement Fund will support small to medium sized residential aged care providers primarily located in regional, rural and remote locations that are facing financial decline which may impact on care to residents.
As part of the application process for the Business Improvement Fund, providers will be required to complete an independent Business Advisory Services (BAS) review through PwC for free (https://www.pwc.com.au/health/aged-care-advisory.html ) or an independent assessment report at their own cost prior to the submission of their application.
