Forecast funding opportunity - Thriving Suburbs Program Round 2
The Thriving Suburbs Program fund community infrastructure across urban, suburban and peri urban communities.
Upcoming rounds will offer open competitive grants from $250,000 to $15 million for projects that deliver local, place-based benefits. This includes building or upgrading shared community facilities and spaces that improve amenity, enhance liveability and support connection throughout Australia's capital cities.
The Australian Government committed $750 million in the 2026–27 Budget for further rounds of the Growing Regions and Thriving Suburbs Programs, supporting continued investment in locally driven community infrastructure.
New Grant Opportunity Guidelines expected to be released from late 2026.
Eligibility: Eligible entities are incorporated not-for-profit organisations and local government councils.
