IAS Advancement Strategy – Advance notice of forthcoming 2020 NAIDOC Grant Opportunity
The National indigenous Australians Agency (the Agency) will be inviting eligible applicants to submit applications for NAIDOC grant funding under the Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS).
The 2020 NAIDOC Local Grants funding round aims to support activities being held during NAIDOC Week 2020 (8-15 November) that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, achievements and continuing contributions to our country and society. Activities should align with the National NAIDOC Theme for 2020, ‘Always was, Always will be’.
The grant round provides funding to organisations to contribute to the costs of local and regional NAIDOC activities across Australia. Funding these activities is an important part of the Australian Government’s commitment to support and raise awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures within the wider community.
