A Targeted Call for Research (TCR) is a one-time request for grant applications designed to stimulate research in a particular area that will benefit the health of Australians or address a specific health issue.

NHMRC is considering opening a grant opportunity that invites research proposals on improving infection prevention and control (IPC) in residential aged care facilities (RACF). The aim of the TCR is to stimulate research to better understand the factors that could influence and inform the successful implementation of IPC programs and the support, education and training needs of IPC leads in RACF.
