Description:

This forecast opportunity is to advise potential applicants of the upcoming grant opportunities “Primary care Rural Innovative Multidisciplinary Models rounds 2 and 3 “.

The Primary care Rural Innovative Multidisciplinary Models Program (the Program) was announced as part of the Extension of the National Rural Health Commissioner Office budget measure.

The Office of the National Rural Health Commissioner (the Office) has been expanded to take a system-wide view of rural health, representing doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to ensure rural health initiatives are integrated, achieve their intended effect and fill identified gaps. Round 1 of the Program was conducted in earlier this year in 2021.

The PRIMM Round 2 and Round 3 grant opportunities purpose is to design and consult on feasible solutions to address specific primary health care service issues within local rural communities and regions.

Proposals will be requested for locations where market challenges exist. Eligible regions will be detailed within the Grant Opportunity Guidelines.

Feedback for Round 1 is now available on the National Rural Health Commissioner’s webpage. Please review this document before completing an application for Round 2 when it opens.

Application requirements are still being finalised and will be published once the grant opportunity is formally advertised on GrantConnect.
