A Targeted Call for Research (TCR) is a one-time request for grant applications designed to stimulate research in a particular area that will benefit the health of Australians or address a specific health issue.
The intended outcomes of the TCR is to:
- develop a program of research that will positively influence public policy and practice in the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in relation to maternal and child health, and early childhood development.
- Improve Indigenous maternal and child health outcomes.
