A Targeted Call for Research (TCR) is a one-time request for grant applications designed to stimulate research in a particular area that will benefit the health of Australians or address a specific health issue.
NHMRC is considering opening a grant opportunity in the second half of 2023 to invite research proposals that specifically focus on the commercial determinants of health in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities.
The proposed opportunity aims to stimulate research to identify the direct or indirect and positive or negative effects; commercial activities have on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island health.
The research would inform best practice approaches and health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities.
