General Practice in Aged Care Incentive Primary Health Networks – GP Matching Grant Opportunity
The General Practice in Aged Care Incentive (GPACI) aims to support every aged care resident to receive quality primary care services from a regular GP and practice.
Primary Health Networks (PHNs) will support the implementation of GPACI by working with GPs, practices, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and RACHs to increase capacity to deliver primary care services to aged care residents.
This grant opportunity is targeted at all PHNs and does not require application.
Funding of up to $16.5 million is available over four years from 2023/24. Each PHN will receive a portion of the total allocation.
