The National Network aims to bring together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research groups and their support networks to create a structure that builds capacity and improves the capability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health researchers.

Applications for funding are subject to the eligibility requirements set out in the NHMRC Targeted Call for Research: National Network for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health researchers 2019 Guidelines

Institutions must be an NHMRC approved Administering Institution to be eligible to receive and administer NHMRC funding – refer to the NHMRC website for a list of approved Administering Institutions.
