Osteoporosis Consumer Awareness
The purpose of the grant opportunity is to improve the wellbeing of people with osteoporosis by increasing the availability of evidence-based information and to improve awareness and understanding in the community about osteoporosis and early symptoms.
The grant strongly aligns with the priorities and recommendations outlined in the National Strategic Action Plan for Osteoporosis (the Action Plan), launched by the Australian Government on
17 October 2019.
The objective of the grant opportunity is to increase consumer awareness of osteoporosis and the importance of bone health in line with the priorities in the Action Plan. This includes:
- increasing awareness and education of osteoporosis, with a focus on early prevention.
To be eligible you must satisfy the criteria in section 4.1 of the grant opportunity guidelines.
$500,000.00

• submit your application/s to grant.atm@health.gov.au by 2pm Canberra local time, Monday 25 November 2019.
