Description:

The Australian Army History Research Grants Scheme was established in 1993 to support and encourage research into the history and development of the Australian Army, both on operations and during peace.

The aim of the Scheme is to encourage and support individuals (not organisations) to undertake substantially new research into the history of the Australian Army.

Such research should produce new insights, understanding and information on an aspect of Army’s history (or heritage, where appropriate). Projects that focus on the utility of the research to current Army are viewed favourably.

Eligibility:

Individuals are welcome to apply for grants.

The scheme is not restricted to Australian citizens or residents.

Members of the Australian Army History Unit are ineligible to apply.

Total Amount Available (AUD):

$97,000.00

Estimated Grant Value (AUD):

From $1.00 to $15,000.00
