Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander General Practice Training Support Activities Grant Opportunity
The General Practice Training Support Program is a support program for the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program which aims to provide grant funding for ancillary activities and support services for those involved in vocational general practice training.
This grant opportunity is to fund ancillary activities undertaken on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registrars who wish to access various forms of support and training assistance whilst undertaking vocational GP training across all GP Training programs.
This grant aims to:
• support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registrars access to vocational GP training support and assistance activities through culturally appropriate mediums; and
• provide continuity and stability for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registrars training towards specialist general practice recognition.
As this is a targeted non-competitive grant opportunity only Indigenous General Practice Registrars Network is eligible to apply.
