Support for NDIS Providers Program
The Australian Government is inviting applications via a closed non-competitive process to deliver activities under the Support for NDIS Providers Program through the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
The Support for NDIS Providers Program is a new four year grants program of up to $17.6 million from 2018-19 to 2021-22, for a national information and education program to develop and grow a quality market in the NDIS, emphasising compliance obligations through the lens of the people with disability accessing NDIS supports and services.
This grant opportunity is designed to support allied health professionals to engage with the NDIS registration process and maximise successful registration. The intended outcomes of the grant opportunity are:
- Allied health professional registering to deliver NDIS supports and services understand their obligations to NDIS participants
- Allied health professionals have tools and resources available to assist them in maximising the quality and safety of the supports and services that they deliver to NDIS participants
It is focused on supporting individuals and smaller operators to enter and remain in the NDIS market where they have a demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the rights, health, and wellbeing of people with disability participating in the NDIS. Those providers who operate in geographically challenging circumstances and thin markets are also a focus of this grant opportunity.
