The Central Coast General Practice Incentive Fund grant opportunity (the grant opportunity) is a single, closed non competitive opportunity. The Central Coast General Practice Incentive Fund was announced as a 2019 election commitment, for delivery through the Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN (HNECC PHN), in collaboration with the Rural Doctors Network, the Rural Workforce Agency in NSW.
The Central Coast General Practice Incentive Fund grant opportunity has been funded under Outcome 2.5 - Primary Health Care Quality and Coordination, under Priority 27 (Primary Health Care Development Program).
The purpose of the grant opportunity is to create a Central Coast General Practice Incentive Fund to attract and retain General Practitioners (GPs) in the Central Coast region of NSW, by providing incentives to relocate such as accommodation support and access to training and workforce support.
As this is a closed non-competitive grant opportunity only the organisation listed at Section 4.1 in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines - Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN, is eligible to receive the grant funds.
Suitability to receive grant funding will be assessed as per Section 6 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines.
