Purpose:
With the developments in manufacturing methods over the last decade and their increasing availability to both skilled manufacturers and hobbyists alike, we will prepare our students to explore, understand and experiment with current manufacturing methods that have seen huge growth in the last decade, with the addition of 3D printing and laser cutting within our makerspace. These technologies will enable our students to design and construct solutions previously unavailable to many primary schools.
