Purpose:
East Coast Apprenticeships has partnered with Simple Solutions training and Consultancy and industry representatives in Residential Aged Care and Community Care to develop a new Enhanced Pathway for candidates seeking employment in the Community Health sector specifically Residential Aged Care and Community Care roles.
The project, named Career in Care project, is for 20 Job Seekers to be trained over 7 weeks in an Industry–referenced Enhanced Pathway Program (Individual Support Carer) with a further 3 weeks of relevant work placement. Successful graduates will be employed into a Certificate III Individual Support Trainee–ship (Full, part–time or casual).
