The ECHO trial: Exercise during CHemotherapy for Ovarian cancer
Purpose:
ECHO is a multicentre, randomised trial (n=500) that will determine if an individually tailored exercise program during chemotherapy for ovarian cancer can improve progression-free survival, overall survival, physical wellbeing, function and quality of life at 6 and 12 months post-randomisation, improve chemotherapy adherence, lead to fewer and less severe adverse events during chemotherapy and can lower health care costs for complications of ovarian cancer treatment.
