Grant Activity:
Reducing debilitating fatigue after stroke to improve Quality of Life
Purpose:
We will undertake a clinical trial aimed at improving the quality of life for stroke survivors by targeting and treating fatigue. Post stroke fatigue has been rated as the number one unmet medical need of stroke survivors. We have previously had significant success in a phase 2 trial of modafinil to treat post stroke fatigue, and we now seek to perform a similar trial on a larger, international cohort in order to change clinical practice.
