Purpose:
The project will comprise the building of an all abilities, inclusive children&aposs playground to be known as the Childhood Adventure Zone, at Boongaree Park in Berry, a village located in the tourist precinct of Shoalhaven, New South Wales.
Boongaree Park is located in Berry, the northern entry town into the highly popular tourist area known as the Shoalhaven. The Childhood Adventure Zone at Boongaree Park will provide an attraction for those travelling through the region to stop, take a break & give the children an all inclusive, all ages playspace to explore. Boongaree Park is conveniently located a short walk to the heart of the historical village of Berry where visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee, stock up on supplies or explore the variety of shops that Berry has to offer. It is envisaged that the Childhood Adventure Zone will not only attract visitors to take a break but also introduce them to Berry & surrounds, leading to further visitation and regional economic benefit.
