Temora Airport runway, apron and taxiways upgrade
Purpose:
Delivery of the project will upgrade the original Temora Aerodrome 18/36 runway and associated main apron and selected taxiways, enabling operation of large aircraft, integral to the ongoing operation of the Temora Aviation Museum as a national tourist attraction. Additionally, arterial underground drainage will be upgraded to supplement the existing drainage network in transporting stormwater runoff generated from the aerodrome. This will mitigate frequent intermittent flooding of Runway 18/36 and associated Aprons and Taxiways.
