Purpose:
The Yarra Ranges Safety Camera Network is a successful project which brings together local communities, stakeholders and government departments, working towards a common goal to keep our towns safe. This project's key activities and outcomes is to include a further 6 townships into the network and work with them to improve the perceptions of safety in their towns by installing CCTV cameras with live feed, back to local Police Stations and in conjunction with stakeholders improve the public and community environments with CPTED recommendations.
