Purpose:
SupraG has developed a world–first process to economically produce graphene materials on an industrial scale. The process is designed to manufacture graphene–based films for the fabrication of supercapacitors, a type of energy storage device widely used in consumer electronics, electric vehicles and industrial equipment. Supra's supercapacitors demonstrate twice the energy density of current carbon–based products, making them smaller, lighter and more efficient. Accelerating Commercialisation support will be used to establish a small–scale industrial facility, validate graphene–based supercapacitor performance, and negotiate sales or licence agreements with major companies in the global electronics industry.
