Purpose:
Australian Gasfields (AGF) will accelerate the refurbishment and restarting of its Eromanga and Gilmore Gas Processing Facilities. The two gas processing facilities are located in South West Qld and have the combined capacity to add 24 TJ per day of gas into the domestic market. Both facilities are currently connected to existing gas production wells and the broader gas pipeline infrastructure in Qld. The GAP funding would bring forward the refurbishment program by 1 year and allow the facilities to be restarted concurrently rather than consecutively. Additionally, restarting the Eromanga Gas Processing Facility will provided valuable regional infrastructure that will enable the unlocking of third party stranded gas resources.
