Purpose:
Australia needs high–performing engineering graduates ready for the automotive jobs of the future, which will involve building the electrified and autonomous cars of the future. This project will help Deakin to provide skilled and job–ready graduates who will contribute to the automotive industry in Australia and across the globe, working with the University's industry partners Ford and Volgren. We are thrilled that this project will support three high performing PhD students who will become leaders in their areas of novel hybrid part design, multi–material design, and multi–process design.
