Purpose:
This research will assess how well current Australian aged care standards, practices and systems reflect the views on healthy ageing and the needs of older Aboriginal peoples and their communities. A novel quality assessment tool will be developed and trialled in community and residential aged care facilities that provide services to Aboriginal populations in metropolitan, rural and remote areas.
