Advance Australia's interests in the trans-Tasman economic relationship
This Grant will fund the Australian New Zealand Leadership Forum’s Australian director position with the Business Council of Australia. The objective will be to advance Australia’s interests in the trans-Tasman economic relationship, through the work of the Australian director in support of the ANZLF work program. This will include:
• engaging business, particularly through the provision of support to the ANZLF co-chairs and to sector programs
• advocacy for trans-Tasman economic integration in relevant policy and legislative development processes
• public advocacy for the trans-Tasman relationship (including speaking engagements, business events)
• preparing for ANZLF’s major event held every 18 months (schedule to be hosted in Australia in 2021)
• developing an Emerging Leaders Programme to involve younger business, political and community leaders in policy discussions on the trans-Tasman relationship.
