The project will deliver immediate financial assistance to farmers and farming families facing hardship from the impacts of drought through existing and accepted practices by the Country Women's Association in each State. The support will fund household expenses for farmers and farming families, and stimulate economic activity in local communities, giving a much–needed boost to other small businesses impacted by the prolonged drought conditions.
