The Project will facilitate Oz Group becoming competitive in the Export markets in SE Asia, Asia and Canada. With the growing Blueberry Industry in this region this will assist in the following:- 1. Extend the level of diversification for employment within the North Coast with the growth of the Berry Agricultural segment. 2. To stimulate long term growth and the viability of this high value industry it is essential that Oz Group exports to new markets and spreads Domestic Blueberry supply during peak season. 3. The project will facilitate additional skilled positions servicing the Industry. 4. Implementing the advanced technology, modified atmosphere and robotics will allow Oz Group to become competitive in capturing markets.
