Installation of a 9.kW Solar Panel System St Declans Catholic Church
Purpose:
St Declan's will purchase and install a 9.24W solar PV Solar Panel system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the community s power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the system will provide (approx.) around 11,999 kWh of electricity every year and a saving to our community of (approx.) $3300.00 per year. Installing a roof top solar panel system will save around 4.5 tonnes of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up funds for our church to continue to offer support to our local community through providing such services as a Youth Minister and a Pastoral Care Co-ordinator.
