16.74kW Solar Power System for BTC Ltd, Yatala
Purpose:
BTC Ltd will purchase and install a 16.74kW solar PV system which will generate clean electricity, alleviating the demand on the national electricity grid. Installing a 16.74kW system would provide approximately 24,000kWh of electricity per year. This will provide approximately 128% (on average) of our energy needs and will offset around 18.9 tonnes of CO2 per year (based on energy used and excess generated). There will be a 67% reduction (approximate) in our annual power bill after installation. As a result, BTC will be able to free-up funds for community projects and provide training to disadvantaged individuals.
