A 5kw pv and a 5kw storage system for the Australian Islamic Society
Purpose:
The Australian Islamic Soc will purchase and install a 5kW solar PV and battery storage system which will generate clean will purchase and install a 5kW solar PV and battery storage system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the community s power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 5 kW system would provide around 3,750 kWh of electricity every year, this would save around 3 tonnes of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go into community programs
