Purpose:
The Twin Rivers Art Centre will purchase and install a 15kW solar PV and battery storage system which will generate c will purchase and install a 15kW solar PV and battery storage system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the community s power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 15 kW system would provide around 11,250 kWh of electricity every year, this would save around five tonnes of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go into art supplies, art curating and teaching facilities.
