Purpose:
Kogarah Community Services will purchase and install a 7.15kW solar system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce our community centres power bills. Not only will this alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs, but it will free up much needed resources (money) that we can then use for more community programs for our community members. As an environmentally conscious organisation, this installation will also allow us to walk the walk of caring about and for our environment.
